New to Blogging

So I was bored at work today and decided to try my hand at blogging. It seems to be the thing to do these days. Not that I really think I have anything worthwhile to put in a blog, nor do I think anyone would find my life important or interesting enough to read about on a regular basis. But it's a nice diversion anyway. I work by myself, and the workload has been light for the past couple weeks, so that leaves a lot of downtime. I can't really study or do anything that takes me away from the computer/phone because the minute I do someone needs something, and surfing the web is getting pretty boring (although this will probably get pretty boring soon too so this may not last long). At least blogging enables me to stay alert and at least look like I'm working.

So let's see, what new and exciting things have I been up to lately? Went to the No Doubt + Paramore shows in Charlotte and Raleigh this past week, those were pretty awesome. The Charlotte venue left something to be desired- the arena was smaller and the grounds were not very well kept. Shows at Walnut Creek are always fun times though. Had an amazing calzone last night at Moonlight Pizza, which I split with an amazing guy ;-). If you're ever looking for a chill place with great pizza and awesome bartenders, Moonlight Pizza is the place to go. They have drink specials just about every night of the week- last night was G&Ts for $4 and Wednesday night they have local pints for $2 or $3, can't remember- and basically everything on the menu is fantastic. My favorites are the Tortellini and the Fettucine (I'm a big pasta fan). Their salads are fresh too and their dressings are really good. Definitely a cool spot.

This Friday I'm headed to Charlotte again for a graduation party and then back to Raleigh Saturday afternoon. Not particularly looking forward to making the drive all by myself, but it should be ok.

Well, that's all I can think of right now. 'Til next time.
